Ordinarily the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated on Dec. 8. This year, since the Church celebrates the Second Sunday of Advent on this day, the Vatican has transferred the solemnity to Monday, Dec. 9, 2024. In the Diocese of Gaylord, Monday, Dec. 9 is a Holy Day of Obligation. Check with your local parish for Mass times.
Note that many popular Catholic calendars will not indicate Dec. 9 as a Holy Day of Obligation since the clarification from the Vatican was released in October 2024.
