The Most Reverend Bishop J. Walsh announced a decision regarding the future of Manistee Catholic Central (MCC) today. Bishop Walsh thanked all who have contributed to the process leading to the moment of decision on the school’s future, and he acknowledged the Manistee Catholic Central Foundation who raised $345,000. However, for the school to remain open, Bishop Walsh explained $2,000,000 would be needed to fund one year. Therefore, an additional $1,655,000 must be raised by April 8, 2024 for MCC to remain open next year with an enhanced educational program.
