Media Assistance
If any media contacts your parish directly for a news story, contact the Director of Communications at (989) 619-5162 (cell) to discuss prior to giving any statements or committing to an interview.
Photo Release Form
Photo release forms should be signed by individuals you are featuring in promotional tools that would be considered advertising, such as photos used for ticket sales to a church event. When capturing public events, group shots are not necessary to obtain everyone’s photo releases when using the photo for reporting newsworthy events. However, when using a photo of a minor, you MUST ALWAYS get permission from the minor’s parent or guardian. Standard photo release forms can be obtained at on the secure side of the diocesan website under forms.
