The Diocese of Gaylord is pleased to announce the winner of our annual Advent Card Art Contest, Margaret Mercer. Margaret, a 12th grader at St. Michael High School, created a beautiful, vibrant image of the Holy Family using colored pencil and marker.
When asked to describe what inspired her to create this work and what it means to her, she said, "Depicting the Holy Family is an honor, and my inspiration came from my confidence in my abilities and love for Christ, Mary, and Joseph."
