Clergy Announcement for October 14, 2024

GAYLORD, MICHIGAN – The Most Reverend Jeffrey J. Walsh, bishop of the Diocese of Gaylord, has announced the following appointments, effective October 21, 2024: 

Reverend Nicholas J. Cooper – from Pastor, Holy Family Parish, East Tawas to leave of absence for reasons of health.

Reverend Artur F. Duchnowicz – to Pastor, Holy Family Parish, East Tawas. Father Duchnowicz will continue to serve as Pastor, St. James Parish, Whittemore; St. Pius X Parish, Hale; St. Stephen, King of Hungary, Parish, Skidway Lake, and Vicar for the Southeast Region.

Deacon Brent H. Hemker – to Deacon, Holy Family Parish, East Tawas. Deacon Hemker will continue to provide diaconal ministry at St. James Parish, Whittemore; St. Pius X Parish, Hale; and St. Stephen, King of Hungary, Parish, Skidway Lake.
