Community-wide rosary for those lost in plane crash on Beaver Island

Our Catholic community mourns the loss of those who died in the tragic plane crash on Beaver Island this past weekend. We are deeply saddened by this tragedy and extend our sympathy and prayers to all the families grieving the loss of their loved ones. Please continue to join in prayer for those who have died and for all those who mourn.

Among those who were lost is Mike Perdue, husband of Christie Perdue, President of the Northern Michigan Catholic Foundation. The Perdue family is an integral part of our local Catholic community and diocesan family. St. Mary Cathedral School will lead a community-wide rosary for the repose of the soul of Michael Perdue and for the intention of all those impacted by the tragic event that took place on November 13.

This special rosary will take place on Thursday, November 18 @ 6:30 pm at St. Mary Cathedral. All are welcome. For those who wish to participate but cannot attend in person, the rosary will be live streamed at stmarycathedral.org.

May all those who have died Rest In Peace and may we find consolation in Christ’s promise of eternal life.
