Ann Bush slated to be new St. Ann-Cadillac principal

On Nov. 1, Ann Bush will be taking the leadership role at St. Ann's School in Cadillac. The staff has done an amazing job of starting the school year and continuing strong Catholic values while maintaining excellence in Ms. Ann Busheducation while the search was done for a new principal. Ms. Bush will be leaving a 32 year career at TCAPS, where she has been a teacher, guidance counselor, class advisor, coach as well as having served in many other roles. Ms. Bush attended Central Michigan University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Masters in Professional Counseling.

Although Ms. Bush's experience in education has solely been in the public schools, she is no stranger to St. Ann's. Ms. Bush attended school at St. Ann's for 3rd -6th grade, her family  attended St. Ann Parish, and she has been the "on call" counselor for many years. In addition, Ms. Bush has been active in many roles in the parish (Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Livestream and youth leader). She believes strongly in a Catholic education for our youth.

Within the Cadillac community, Ms. Bush loves to give back to programs that help youth and families. She is President of Cadillac Area Sports Association, a volunteer youth coach, member of VSU (victim service unit), works with the Project Christmas Committee and is involved in many other volunteer projects when called upon to help. In her free time, Ms. Bush likes to play frisbee with her puppy, BaLoo, and run 5k, 10k or half marathons with her running buddies.
