Office of Catholic Schools: Diocesan Catechism Bee

The Catholic Schools Office hosts this annual event (similar to a spelling bee) here at the Pastoral Center. This year it’s our 10^th Annual event! Last year’s event had to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions and this year’s event is pared down (limitation of guests per participant and no luncheon). Participants are the 6^th grade student school catechism bee winners from each of our Catholic Schools in the diocese. We provide them with study guides for the diocesan bee (which is different than the school bee). Prizes are awarded to the top 3 – 1^st place $1,000 tuition credit, 2^nd place $750 tuition credit and 3^rd place $500 tuition credit, and all participants are given certificates and YouCats (bible and prayer book).
