The Circle of Grace program is the curriculum that the diocese has established to meet its learning objectives about appropriate boundaries for a person's interactions with others. The diocese has licensed Circle of Grace from the Archdiocese of Omaha for use by the parishes and their schools.
The parish school principals and teachers as well as the parish religious education teachers and youth ministry leaders are responsible for incorporating the Circle of Grace curriculum into their respective course plans for the year.
A parent may "opt out" of his or her child being taught the Circle of Grace curriculum in a given academic year. If you are a parent or guardian of a child enrolled in a Catholic School or Religious Education program and you wish to review the Circle of Grace materials for your child's grade-level in order to make this decision, please make this request to the school or parish at which your child is enrolled.
