Mrs. Mochty holds a Master of Arts degree in Administration and teacher certification from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Michigan State University. She has also held various coaching/advisory positions for athletic teams and other clubs and organizations.

Mrs. Mochty stated: “I am excited and honored to be the principal of Holy family School in East Tawas. As a native of Tawas, I have been a member of Holy Family Parish (previously St. Joseph Parish) since the day I was born. My husband (a Tawas native as well, and past student of St. Joseph School) and I have raised three beautiful children in our Catholic faith. My Catholic faith has helped guide me daily in both my personal and professional life, and I hope to be able to lead our youth with the same guiding principles to enrich their own personal faith journey.”
